- Going West on 580 take Vasco South exit under the freeway, then over the freeway. Turn Right onto Preston Ave then a quick Right onto Southfront. Turn Left onto McGraw then Right onto Preston Ave then a quick Left into the driveway. 5043 Preston is in the building on the right next to the last unit.

The Art of Cutting, Beginning to Advanced Stained glass classes and the Fast Track class will teach you the art of cutting stained glass to allow you to created beautiful stained glass art. No experience necessary to take a beginning, fast track or the art of cutting class.

About Roberta
Roberta began making small stained glass sun catchers in 1979. She found that she had a natural aptitude for glass work as well as feeling pride and enjoyment from the completed works. In 1980, Roberta completed a one year apprenticeship with a top rated glass artist in Incline Village, NV at the north shore of Lake Tahoe. During that apprenticeship she learned that to make a quality stained glass project the artist must consider more than beauty. The artist must always make certain that the piece is structurally sound. In 1981, Roberta opened a small business in Truckee where she did exclusive custom stained glass work, until the birth of her 1st child in 1987 then twins in 1988. In 1990 Roberta moved her family to Livermore where she continued doing custom work on a part time basis. During that year she began another apprenticeship with a German glass painter and craftsman. He mentored her for two and a half years. Her work there was primarily restoration of church windows. Although there were some new windows created that would match the existing ones. Roberta's work can be seen in many of the churches in Watsonville, San Jose, San Francisco and the Peninsula. Roberta continued to do custom work while her children were growing up.
At this time Roberta has Art Glass Studio in Livermore. She offers custom work, repairs and classes for all levels of stained glass work, glass mosaics and fused glass. In addition she does sell supplies to other artists in the area. There are one of a kind gifts available for sale at the Livermore location. Roberta literally has thousands of stained glass windows in Northern California, Nevada and Arizona. Her work has been shipped to Europe and Japan as well as to the eastern United States.
